Old Saw – “Revivial Hearing”

MA ambient country collective Old Saw returns this morning with a new dose of earthen atmospheres. The band threads the needle that binds SUSS and Daniel Bachman’s latter day works, finding a balance between sunrise splendor and the growing unease at the erosion of the natural world. “Revival Hearing” mixes clattering percussion with gossamer tape waves and a lovely plethora of plucks and pedal steel. The band’s new record, Dissection Maps, is on the way from Worried Songs on June 21st.
