RSTB Radio WGXC: August

Been on vacation a bit this week, so I’m getting the radio recap up late, but the show brought a lot of new and old Raven faves to WGXC this week. Started with a cosmic country batch that swiped at new favorites from The Highest Order and R McClure & Tall Shadows with an older gem in there from Darker My Love. A blitz of pop that drags in Kelley Stoltz, new Jacuzzi Boys and King Gizz and a psych jazz middle that lets John Dwyer’s Bent Arcana and the Ellis/Munk Ensemble shine. Tack on new Garcia Peoples and a bonus single from RSTB fave Grace Cummings and, I have to admit, this was a pretty solid show. You can stream over at WGCX and check the tracklist below.

::Playlist::

Sean Thompson’s Weird Ears – Raspberry Pie /// The Highest Order – Hardball /// The Sunset Canyoneers – Alcohol and a Gamblin’ Town /// R McClure & Tall Shadows – Me and My Hangover /// Darker My Love – Backseat /// Pearl Charles – Night Tides (Alternate Version) /// Game Theory – Here It Is Tomorrow /// Home Blitz – What We Wore /// R.E. Seraphin /// Kelley Stoltz – Too Good To Be True /// Blues Lawyer – For Keeps /// Rookie – Hold On Tight /// Jacuzzi Boys – The Pits /// The Buoys – Linda /// Fuzz – Returning /// King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard – Honey /// Lloyd Thayer & Jerome Deupree – Blind Owl Blues /// Bent Arcana – Oblivion Sigil /// Ellis/Munk Ensemble – Pauly’s Pentacles /// Garcia Peoples – One At A Time /// Jesus Sons – Feel Alright (That Bottle) /// Sally Anne Morgan – Garden Song /// Grace Cummings – Sweet Matilda /// Tony Jay – Castle of Dreams /// Sleeper & Snake – Flats Falling /// Sweeping Promises – Falling Forward /// Vintage Crop – Just My Luck /// Bitch Prefect – Adelaide /// Surf City – No Place To Go /// The Jean-Paul Sartre Experience – Into You (Freegard Mix) /// Comet Gain – Right Now No
