GospelbeacH – “I’ll Close My Eyes”

Avatar

Kicking off this Friday with a double shot from GospelbeacH. The Curation Records flagship band announces an upcoming album for the label in the near future, preceded by “I’ll Close My Eyes,” a sundown, country-curtained vision of Americana that glows bright among the catalog of Brent Rademaker’s post-Beachwood outfit. The song simmers slow and bittersweet, bolstered by the soaring background vocals of Mara Connor and steel from Bob “Derwood” Andrews (Generation X, Empire). The flip heats up the tempo, amplifying the country sway even further and letting the listener dance in its summer-sweet breeze. The upcoming album also features contributions from L.A. studio legend Bob Glaub (Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt) alongside a few Curation familiars like Jake DeJongh. The new single is out now, news to come on the new LP.
