More goodness out of Nashville today, a dark n’ dexterous single from country-folk duo Paper Wings. With a slight blues rumble, “Is It True” captures the foreboding force of rolling clouds on the horizon. The band faces down the storm with a tangle of banjo and twining harmonies that push their sound towards the Appalachian smoke curl that often wraps around the best country. The song sits at the center of the band’s upcoming new album, Listen To The World Spin, which finds its way out on March 15th.
