Lee Gallagher and the Hallelujah – “Something Better”

Avatar

A darker turn from Lee Gallagher finds the SF songwriter moving away from some of the sunnier Americana that graced his 2020 album L.A. Yesterday. Along with backing band The Hallelujah, “Something Better” brushe the soul-dipped sear of works from The Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Howlin’ Rain, or Circles Around The Sun. The sun slips below the clouds and an uneasy wind blows through the cut as organ and guitars begin to churn their way towards choppy waters. The new record, The Falcon Ate The Flower, is produced by Jason Soda (GospelbeacH) and finds its way out November 3rd.
