Jeffrey Alexander & The Heavy Lidders – “Star Power”

Real excited to see this one out in the open. Perennial RSTB faves Jeffrey Alexander & The Heavy Lidders announce their new LP for Arrowhawk. The record, produced by Chis Forsyth features a whole host of favorites from around these parts — Geologist (Animal Collective), Kate Wright (Movietone), Ryan Jewell (Ryley Walker Band, Mosses, Rose City Band), Jeff Tobias (Sunwatchers, Modern Nature), and Brent Cordero (Psychic Ills). The first single out of the gate is the gossamer glow of “Star Power,” which finds the band at their most ethereal. Alongside the regular crew of Lidders on this one, the band is joined by Kate Wright’s vocals, Forsyth on guitars, and Ryan Jewell adding a percussive pulse.
