Channelers – “Never Really”

Some great news from the Inner Islands house today, alongside a new record from Golden Brown (more on that later) and a record from new signing Sawyer G, labelhead Sean Conrad continues his work as Channelers, offering up details on a new cassette, Generation/Harvest. The album opener, “Never Really,” is an aching bit of Kosmiche folk, underpinning fingerpicked guitars with synth ripples that glow with an incandescent softness. The record expands on Sean’s repertoire of works that straddle ambient, jazz, folk, and drone. Generation/Harvest arrives from Inner Islands on September 8th.
