Sessa – “Canção da Cura”

A second single slinks out of this upcoming album from Sessa and its even better than the last. With a kind of midnight aura about it, the song exploits a cavernous sound. Sessa and the background vocals hang on the air with a fogged fragrance, the guitars echo, cold to the touch, and the hand drums move this along with a snaking beat. Between this and the psychedelic textures on the new Wax Machine, there’s something to be said for a new wave of Tropicália that embraces sun and storms alike. The new album, Estrela Acesa, is out June 24th from Mexican Summer.
