Kelley Stoltz – “Reni’s Car”

RSTB favorite Kelley Stoltz, ever the pop chameleon, is back again with a new album on the slate for 2024. On first single “Reni’s Car” Stoltz is slipping into a smeared and sunny vision of indie pop that wouldn’t be out of place on the bill alongside The Reds, Pinks and Purples. Upfront strums are buffered by a light lacing of keys and the head-bob shake of tambourine as the single unfolds. Stoltz proves again and again that there’s no skin he’s uncomfortable in, and its nice to get a little shot of jangle from the perennial favorite this year. The new album, La Fleur, is out this Summer from Agitated Records and Dandy Boy.
