Jeanines – Each Day EP

RSTB faves Jeanines hit the breeze this month with the announcement of a new 7” on Slumberland. The EP brings together three post-Don’t Wait For A Sign cuts. “”Each Day” chimes like an extension of their last album, undercut with a touch of ‘60s jangle-pop and folk. Alicia Hyman’s voice soars on “What The Echoes Say” but the highlight is the closer, a song that’s appeared previously on Where It’s At Is Where You Are’s 2019 compilation The Moon And Back. The track appears here as its first official vinyl release. Jangling like the beset Jeanines cuts, the song leans into Mamas and Papas harmonies that instantly endear it to the listener. “Tilt In Your Eye” lands among the band’s best works. The new single is out July 7th.
