Writhing Squares – “LEM”

Another ripper out of the upcoming Writhing Squares punishes the public this week. The band, sounding as lacerating as ever, wastes no time biting to the bone on “LEM.” Fuzz envelops the listener, a riff that displaces every organ in the body. Then Nickles’ sax tears through the smoke and scrap metal to singe the listener from synapse to synapse. This is the sound of global collapse. When we rise from the ashes, Writhing Squares will be the house band at the end of the world. The new album, Mythology, is out April 26th from Trouble In Mind.
