Trummors – “Cosmic Monster”

A second single from Trummors lands today and it showcases the more psychedelic nature of the upcoming, 5. Opening with sitar courtesy of Mapache’s Clay Finch, the cut curls a bit of incense around their sound. While the band is still deep in the arms of Cosmic Country, they nod to ‘60s psych nuggets like Dantalian’s Chariot, lacing some Eastern touches across their Western landscapes. While the bulk of the record still dabbles in the band’s love of Cowboy and Sand, it’s nice to let a little mind expansion sit amidst the ramble on the record. The new album, 5, is out April 12th from Ernest Jenning Record Co.
