The Hanging Stars – “Let Me Dream of You”

A second new single from RSTB faves The Hanging Stars brings with it official word of a new album on the way next year. “Let Me Dream of You” finds the band extending the loose-slung gloss of their last album, 2022’s Hollow Heart. Where they’d swerved between country and psych-pop on the previous outing, the new song touches down in the former camp, letting just the right toasting of twang grace the edges of the song, with a driving strum at its heart. Stacked harmonies and a sun-kissed bliss help this one beat back the December chill. The new album, On A Golden Shore, is out March 8th from Loose Music.
