Teddy & The Rough Riders – “Rose Tinted Glasses”

Teddy & the Rough Riders fire out a new single this week, the second of four planned for early in the year. A bit more lived-in and laid back than some of the band’s past dust kickers, “Rose Tinted Glasses” ambles slow over the crest of the hill, soaking in the noon day sun. There have been plenty of new country stompers over the past couple of years, but I’m loving the bands that sink into this kind of slow simmer, an end of the day ease that’s cut just a touch by a toast of twang on its way out the door.
