Michael A. Muller – “Mirror 2 (feat. Chuck Johnson)”

After years working with Blamorhea, Michael A. Muller makes his debut for the vaunted Deutsche Grammophon next month, further exploring his compositional work that been building over the past few years. For “Mirror 2” Muller pairs his hazed morning moments with the incomparable pedal steel of Chuck Johnson. The song swells through the speakers, moving slow as fog dissolving in a new day’s sun. The new record, Mirror Music, features a few more familiar names besides Johnson, with Danny Paul Grody, Ilyas Ahmed, Douglas McCombs, Jefre Cantu-Ledesma, and Jon Porras all finding their way into the credits here. The new album hits streamers on March 1st with a limited LP to follow on March 15th.
