Mary Lattimore & Paul Sukeena – “Altar of Tammy”

Three Lobed continue to be an unstoppable juggernaut of goodness these days and, following the completion of their 20th Anniversary run, the label announces a new record from Mary Lattimore featuring multi-instrumentalist Paul Sukeena (Solar Motel Band, Steve Gunn, Spacin’). The first offering from the pair is the midnight ink boil of “Altar of Tammy.” Sukeena’s guitar drones darkly, lending an air of ache and intrigue to the track. As always, Lattimore’s harp adds an otherworldly shimmer, lacing “Altar of Tammy” with a dose of strange magic. The record, West Kensington, is out May 20th from Three Lobed.
