Jim Nothing – “Raleigh Arena”

NZ indie outfit Jim Nothing returns with a new single that’s chomping on fuzz and ready to pop. The band’s last album was packed full of riffs that threw back to ‘90s alt mavens and indie aughts classics, and this first taste of a follow-up is heading right through that sweet spot once more. The song slips on a foam of guitar and synths, starting things off with a bite from the motorik mountain before erupting into a haze of amp burndown and a shout-along hook. The single is out now with promise of more to come in 2024.
