Glyders – “Wrong Somtimes Right”

Whew the last couple of weeks have been busy and things just seem to fall through the cracks. I’ve been listening to the Glyder’s album Maria’s Hunt non-stop lately and its already poised to be one of the albums to hear as the calendar clicks over to 2023. The band’s first single was a sweat-soaked exhaust-huffer, but they cool things down with a country croon on “Wrong Sometimes Right.” With a Graham and Emmy Lou back and forth and a sunburned country psych parlor (especially on the fuzz toasted outro) the song balances nicely with the album’s mix of grit and grace. The new album is out January 20th from the Country Thyme Records imprint under Drag City.
