Elkhorn – “Wilderness”

I know I’ve been gushing over this one pretty consistently on the site, and you can read the full review here, but it’s hard to ignore a lovely hand-collaged video to accompany Elkhorn’s “Wilderness.” The song sits in the midpoint of the new album, Distances, and acts as one of the lighter moments in an album doused in dynamic turbulence. The clip was assembled by Jesse Sheppard from pieces he’d gathered over the years and its fluid, free-association feel is perfect for the ramble of “Wilderness.” The album is out now from Feeding Tube. One of 2022’s absolute best!
