Anna St. Louis – “Sea Glass”

Anna St. Louis’ new album In The Air has been a favorite around here since its release, but if you’ve been missing out, there’s no time like today to dip in. The album’s tender closer, “Sea Glass,” gets a plaintive video, pairing an overcast beach outing with the song’s bittersweet sighs. Capturing the weight of Judee Sill, Graham Nash, or Susan Christie, Anna’s works soothe a wounded heart and “Sea Glass” is a prime example of her new album’s firelight flicker. Quite a lovely way to wrap up the remains of an Autumn day. If you’re in the neck of Upstate NY, Anna’s playing next week at Tubby’s alongside Simon Joyner & The Sirens. I highly recommend heading out!
