Acetone to release live 2xLP for RSD

Avatar

With the release of their comprehensive box set last year, it would seem that New West had already bestowed as much Acetone treasures as they could on the public, but RSD holds more in store. The label announces today a companion piece to last year’s massive box set and string of individual reissues. RSD will see the release of I’ve Enjoyed As Much of This As I Can Stand – Live At The Knitting Factory, NYC: May 31, 1998. Alongside a cross-section of cuts from their catalog up through the S/T LP, the set concludes with a 13-minute medley of “I’m Gone,” “Misirlou,” and Pink Floyd’s “Interstellar Overdrive.” The offering will not be released digitally, only on LP. Catch a slice of the show below, a stretched version of “Cindy” from the band’s debut EP. The live record is out April 20th from New West.
