Wet Tuna / DUNZA prep split 7″ for I Heart Noise

Some good news coming into the new year with this announcement of a split from Wet Tuna and JJT’s Dunza moniker. Longtime favorites around here, both Matt Valentine and James Both have been pillars of the site throughout the years and it’s great to see them pinned to the same release thanks to Boston’s I Heart Noise. For the split 7” Wet Tuna will reach back into the past, covering “Wand Arise” from the Omen Bones Band release (2006). The cover appeared on the lovely tribute to Toth, Birthday Blues, from last year, put together by his wife Leah and released digitally. It’ll hop onto wax for the first time alongside James taking on the Tuna newcomer that’s quickly become a live set staple and perennial favorite, “Sweet Chump Change.” The new single is limited to a batch of 100 and arrives February 26th.
