A new solo work was announced today from guitarist J.R. Bohannon, who was most recently found collaborating with Ben Greenberg and Ryley Walker on their album For Michael Ripps. “Our Only World” opens up Bohannon’s upcoming album for Astral Editions. The song exemplifies his rippling guitar style, fusing folk and raga into a glowing cut that exudes tranquility. Dawning over the rapids of guitar, Bohannon adds yearning slides that streak in golden hues, warming the song’s brisk beginnings to a comforting close. The new album is out January 14th.
