Bill MacKay – “Glow Drift”
by Andy

A second peek into Bill MacKay’s upcoming album lands this week, eschewing vocals for an instrumental tussle that finds Bill and co. on an even keel. The track has a soft percolation to it, a motion that’s set aloft by organ that dips and dives around Bill’s guitar. The song is lost in a morning fog, a kind of daybreak disposition that feels like the start of something new. The song sits among a new crop of gems on Bill’s upcoming Locust Land, out May 24th from Drag City.
