Rosali – “On Tonight”

A second stunner ouf of the new Rosali album hits today and it’s as relaxed and lived-in as I’ve ever heard her. There’s radiance beaming off of the new single, “On Tonight,” finding Rosali and her band — David Nance (bass, guitar), James Schroeder (guitar, synth), Kevin Donahue (drums, percussion) — locked into a warmth that was begun on No Medium. On the road and in the studio, the band has honed that sound and turned it into something sweet, blooming into soft harmonies, resplendent choruses, and a slight UV burn of guitar that climbs over the second half. The new album, Bite Down, is out March 22nd from Merge.
