PAINT – “Rokc Muzik”

More news out of the Allah-Las camp today. Following the announcement of their new album, the band’s Pedrum Siadatian returns with a new record under his alias as PAINT. The long running side project has undergone a bit of a shift in sound. Originally skirting the line between folk and psych, the project has taken a turn towards the kosmiche corral. “Rokc Muzik,” is steeped in Fripp n’ Eno, with eyes on Cluster, but glazed with a dark cinematic lounge lilt. The new album embraces these instrumental impulses, pushing the project away from greased strums and towards a more lascivious new era. Loss For Words is out July 28th from Grape Street, Inc.
