Jacuzzi Boys – “House of Tricks”

Love a good surprise track out of RSTB faves Jacuzzi Boys, and the latest is a power pop joy. The FL trio jet out with a new cut, “House of Tricks.” It finds the band more settled into the early ‘80s power pop sound than ever before. Where the band usually injects a more muscled tone into their works, “House of Tricks” lays back and slips on some jangles and sunshine harmonies. They bring a touch of power back into the solo, but this one has them sounding more 20/20 than Redd Kross these days. The track is untethered to an album, but here’s hoping there’s more of this on the way. New single is out and available directly from the band today.
