A new crop from Eiderdown today and its full of RSTB faves, including a new tape on the way from Golden Brown. With an already excellent release out this year on Inner Islands, Stephen Beck lets this latest entry get lost in the kosmiche clouds. “Orb Weaver” is a patient tune, padding through the forests of the mind with an eye towards the sky. Cosmic streaks color the keys, letting this one loosen the grip of reality on the listener over the course of its nearly nine-minute run. The new album, Moonrise Orb Weaver, is out November 12th.
