Uni Boys – “Two Years”

A second single slips out of the new Uni Boys LP and it’s another bout of power pop perfection. “Two Years” softens the smirk and sands down the end of the ‘70s punk punch that often finds the band with their hand in The Quick’s cookie jar of jams. This time the boys are are laying back on the pillow and staring at the stars, visions of The Records’ and The dB’s more lovestruck moments in their heads. It’s a nice silken single from the band. Their Lemon Twigs-produced new LP Buy This Now! Is out October 13th from Curation Records.
