Uni Boys – “Caroline Kills”

RSTB faves Uni Boys finally confirm their debut album. The band has been slipping out singles for the better part of a year, following up on their Curation debut single “Long Time No See” and two solid albums. With “Caroline Kills” they push towards their debut for the label, a power pop gem that ingests the past and transforms it into pillowy pop dreams for a new era. The band recorded the new album at home, but there’s a bigger than life sheen to Do It All Next Week that comes swooning through every heartsick measure. The single lands on the more constrained side of the LP, letting strum and sway take over the speakers, but this one’s a firecracker ready to scar the skin and heart in the same breath.
