Following on the seared-pop haze of previous single “The Mission,” Six Organs of Admittance returns today with a new single that digs back into Chasny’s past, adopting a fingerpicked ripple that feels familiar hung on the 6Orgs name. The song starts out simple, sanguine, nestled into the mossy quietude of past works. It quickly burrows deep into the sparkling mycelium, lighting up the underbrush and gathering a darkness that borders on foreboding. The new album, Time Is Glass, arrives April 26th from Drag City.
