RSTB fave Robert Sotelo returns with another bout of slightly faded synth pop. Coming through like a VHS copy of memories of ‘80s synthpop the new single, “Caught In A Shape,” sways in the sun. Pushed by processed drums and bobbling on Plasticine synth lines, the song bounds along like the best of Sotelo’s work, wiggling at its core like trying to walk across a trampoline. The single appears on Robert’s upcoming album Indoors, which works as an off-kilter companion to his most recent LP, Celebrant. The record is out September 12th from Upset The Rhythm.
