Another cosmic ripper from the upcoming Possum record lands on this highest of Bandcamp holidays, and what better day to hook into their upcoming psych-splattered sophomore LP. Pounding drums and heady distortion raise the sails on the excellently named “Clarified Budder.” The band pushes the full psychedelic burndown here, but there’s always a coolness behind their guitar scorch, blending a tightly wound kosmiche sensibility into the psychedelic fray like Amon Düül II or Gudibrallan. The new record lands July 2nd on Idée Fixe Records.
