A third single from Maston’s upcoming LP, Souvenir, lands today, a lounged, sun-sweltered instrumental slink by the name of “Swiss Franc.” With the help of Swiss funk freaks L’Eclair backing him up, the song oozes across the spectrum of the speakers. Maston’s long been a master of mood, and this one brings a shiver of calm and distanced cool. The new album both embraces Maston’s library roots and pushes him further towards a hypnotic dance, that embraces a kosmiche glow. The new album is out September 10th from Innovative Leisure.
