GospelbeacH – “Nothin’ But A Fool”

The third single out of the new GospelbeacH hits a bittersweet note, draping over the listener with a bleary-eyed bout of morning melancholy. Laced with the Beach’s country-pop lilt, the song finds Brent Rademaker lamenting wasted time, each line worn with a quiet resolve. The division between living the dream and running ‘round in circles is blurred. He couches the song’s sighs in sunrise strums, a streak of steel, and a plume of keys that envelop the harmonies with an understated grace. It’s the kind of song that runs through the head in the banal moments of life, a necessary lifeline that drags each foot further through responsibilities and routine. Sometimes we all need that push. The cut crops up on GospelbeacH’s upcoming album Wiggle Your Fingers, out April 26th from Curation Records.
