E GONE – ” Adventures Before The Body”

A bit of a sendoff for the beloved label Sunrise Ocean Bender as Stockholm’s E GONE (Daniel Westerlund) preps the final album in a trilogy begun back in 2016. The album carves out a place in the Scandinavian psych lineage, peaking with the title track and closer, a nearly fifteen-minute excursion into the deep. The cut curls through the speakers like smoke on the wind, nipping at Kebnekaise and Träd, Gräs & Stenar with a bit of Eastern float to it as well. The new album, Adventures Before the Body will be released by Cardinal Fuzz / Feeding Tube Records, in collaboration with Deep Water Acres, and in tribute to Sunrise Ocean Bender Records and Kevin McFadin.
