Wireheads – “Killer Bee”

Another Aussie institution kicks out a gem today. The rusted wobble of Wireheads has been haunting RSTB for some time and it’s good to have ‘em back after a short hiatus with a new album on the way this summer. “Killer Bee” sets the synths to squirm, bandying their bent pop vision across the speakers with a twisted glee. The song slips and slides through a funhouse mirror mangle, toning down Dom Trimboli’s usual yowl for a low-key call and response with the background vocals. The new album, Potentially Venus, is out June 23rd from Tenth Court.
