Lovely to see another single out in the world today off of one of my most anticipated records of 2024. Nature of the Universe is the solo debut from Stewart Forgey (Pacific Range), a record that captures the Cosmic American sway of his former outfit, while branching further towards the tumble of Americana into a more coifed countenance in the late ‘70s and early ‘80s. “Look For the Truth” captures the air-conditioned AOR of the period quite nicely, while still letting in enough twang to keep the desert dirt stuck to its boots. Forgey’s new album is out April 24th from Curation Records.
