Primitive Ring – “Rolling Greed”

Primitive Ring keeps the singles stream steady with their fourth short-format burner of 2025. The power trio wraps up a heavy roster of RSTB faves, including Charles Moothart (Fuzz, Gøggs, Ty Segall’s Freedom Band), Bert Hoover (Hooveriii, Groop) and Jon Modaff (Hooveriii, Groop, Frankie & The Witch Fingers). Their latest, “Rolling Greed,” is soiled in smoke and soot, a volcanic chunk of creosote-soaked psychedelics. The band has long felt like kindred spirits to Fuzz, while picking up the yoke from Blue Cheer and Leaf Hound before them, and everything that the band has been burning up to this point seems to come to a head on “Rolling Greed.” The song is built on a huge pyre of riffs, letting the smoke smolder before they set the blaze alight. The cut is part of a new 7”out September 12th from Fuzz Club.
