Massage – “No North Star”

Through a host of personal growth, including loss, marriage, children, and upheaval, L.A.’s Massage have evolved more than most between albums. The band returns next month with their third album, an examination of those seismic shakeups that have snapped them over the past four years. The band releases another single from the set, opener “No North Star,” a smudged, yearning cut that invites the listener to get lost in their own sense of disorientation. Chiming guitars, gauzy textures, and perfectly sighed vocals form the backbone of the track. It’s easy to feel unmoored these days, and Massage offer up some solace on “No North Star.” The band’s latest album, Coaster, is out October 10th from Mt. St Mtn (US), Bobo Integral (EU) and Prefect (UK).
