Julian Never – “Say Something”

A second single from the upcoming Julian Never album sweeps away the scents of New Wave in favor of country touches. Julian Elorduy’s voice lends itself well to tempered strums, mournful slides, and honeyed keys. It’s a wonderfully melancholic cut, that’s not afraid to try on new clothes. Paired with a sun streaked video shot by Elorduy himself, the song slips into the last rays of Autumn with ease, a feeling of parting, ending, and ache about it. The song slips among the ranks of his new album, Everyday Is Purgation, out February 6th from Mt.St.Mtn.
