Josie – “Still Time”

I’m already in for one Precious Recordings of London single today, why not go for two? A second stunner from the label’s International Pop Underground trio, Copenhagen’s Josie digs into the jangle pop jungle as well, this time picking though the past with nods to Dolly Mixture, Tallulah Gosh, and Tiger Trap. Bounding along the speaker wires, “Still Time” is the kind of sunshine strummer that proves just why indie pop still has a presence. It’s pretty damn hard to deny this one, packed with vibrant strums, layered vocals, and the popcorn push of drums. The new single, like its counterpart, is out June 3rd.
