Midwest faves Good Flying Birds return with a new single following their announcement of signing to Carpark Records last month. “Fall Away” finds the band swapping jangles for strums, digging into the pop splash of classic indie outfits from GBV to Chavez. The new single tempers their sound a bit, reigning in the grainy veneer, but still showcases their delightfully dented dedication to the fuzzier side of the ‘90s. The band’s upcoming Talulah’s Tape is being reissued by Carpark on October 17th.
