Earth Ball – “Moon FM”

A searing new single off of the upcoming It’s Yours by Canadian crushers Earth Ball hits today. The band expands its lineup for their new album, embracing the entropy of improvisation and adding members Kellen Maclaughlin on Guitar and Liam Murphy on Saxophone. “Moon FM” makes cutting use of the latter as the driving, devouring dirge gives way to a squall of sax that hits the listener like vertigo. The song stings like acid on an arc welder — light and heat, burn and boil. The disorienting video finds the band’s John Brennan walking through a kaleidoscopic squint over Cambie Bridge in Vancouver. The band’s debut for Upset The Rhythm is out May 17th.
