Winter McQuinn, Dylan Young, Chet Sounds – “Growing Old”

The upcoming family affair of an album from Winter McQuinn proves to be the gift that keeps on giving. A third single out of the record ropes in even more friends and faves, returning Dylan Young (Way Dynamic) to the forefront and this time adding in the mahogany charms of Chet Sounds to the picture. Like quite a few of the singles that have slipped out so far, “Growing Old” picks up on the ‘70s saturation that’s been a key part of McQuinn’s solo works, but has also permeated fellow travelers like Chet Sounds and Hot Apple Band. The cut gets a road trip revved video to accompany its tweedy ease. The new record Where Are We Now? Is out September 19th from Third Eye Stimuli and Born Losers.
