Silver Synthetic – “Happy Ever After / Say The Wrong Word”

I’ve been sitting on these bonus tracks since the album came out and it’s great to finally get the opportunity to share the joy with others. Following on the Cosmic American, salt-air jazz n’ jam of the band’s latest album for Curation Records, Silver Synthetic lets out a double shot single that sums up the album’s sway. The A-side is as sunny as any in their catalog, feeling like a perfect companion piece to “Yr Gonna Be Happy,” a beachside stunner that soaks in the sun before melting into a psych-warbled outro that you know is going to kill on stage. The b-side buttons up a touch, but keeps things as breezy as ever. Both songs were tracked during the sessions for Rosalie and both are available now as a digital single from Curation.
