Orcutt Shelley Miller – “Four-door Charger”

Another highly anticipated trio sets loose a second single today. Heavy-psych supergroup Orcutt Shelley Miller spent a few months scorching the coasts before committing this set from Zebulon to tape. The set finds the band in their element, as anyone who witnessed that run can attest, playing off of one another in seasoned symbiosis. “Four-door Charger,” despite its title, gives the band a little more space, salving the singe from the album opener that introduced them a couple of months back. The new single lets Miller’s bass circle around the headspace, opening up a rhythmic backdrop for Orcutt’s flayed tension and Shelley’s bottled thunder. The new eponymous new album is out from Miller’s own Silver Current Records on September 5th.
