The band has been pulling back the curtain bit by bit, letting the listener in through a series of edits and mixes that showcase the piece’s mercurial movements. For the latest, the band focuses on the dub-dappled elements inherent in the record. “Perseverance Flow (Rally Guts & Humor Mix),” mixes dub plate dankness with modal jazz tectonics, a cross-section of slow-motion sweat that’s just the surface of what’s to come on the full record.
