Motorists – “Frogman”

More goodness out of Canada today as Motorists offer up the second single of the year along with an announcement of their upcoming new alum, Never Sing Alone. “Frogman” is a softer side of the band, sweetened with soft harmonies and the the easy sway of strums. It sands the edges on their brittle grip on pop. The song glows, a sundown sigh that’s complimented by a surreal video. The band’s last album brought them closer to the beating heart of punk and power pop, but here they’ve slowed and simmered, proving they can strum as easy as they can sting. The new record arrives March 6th from We Are Time.
