Massage – “Fading Out”

The singles are coming quicker than ever these days, gotta stay sharp! After the dizzying delight of “Daffy Duck” the band introduces the fuzzy forms of “Fading Out.” The second single is still awash in pop, but lets it slip below the hazy horizon. The band leans back into the foam and fuzz this time around, jettisoning the jangles that have often found their way to the forefront of Massage’s works in favor of a welcoming oblivion. It’s nice to just get lost in the heat and haze of “Fading Out,” an anthem for avoiding the inevitable. The band’s new album, Coaster, is out October 10th from Bobo Integral, Prefect, and Mt. St Mtn.
